Dr. Sinéad Cronin

Dr. Sinéad is a native of Dublin 9 having grown up on Griffith Avenue. She studied Medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and graduated with honours in 2011.Dr. Sinéad completed the RCSI GP training scheme in 2016 working in various Dublin hospitals during this time.
Dr. Sinéad has a keen interest in paediatrics and women’s health, especially pre-pregnancy care and antenatal care. She is a certified smear taker and also inserts contraceptive devices such as the Implanon and various coils.
Dr. Sinéad worked as a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of General Practice at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland for almost a decade. As well as teaching medical students, Dr Sinead was an active researcher involved in many projects across the HRB Centre for Primary Care Research. She sits on the GP Committee of the Rotunda Hospital and the Professional Competency Scheme Committee at the ICGP. She is a LARC and contraception tutor for the ICGP.
Dr. Sinéad is married to Dr. Brian and they have three young children.
