MEET THE TEAM
At Drumcondra Medical we have a highly skilled staff, each with a wide range of special interests. Our Doctors are supported by our wonderful Nurse, Practice Manager and administrative staff.
DR. BRIAN KING
BM BS MICGP BSc. HDE DRCOG PG Dip Clin Ed
Originally from Galway, Dr. Brian was a Maths and Chemistry teacher before returning to the University of Limerick to study Medicine. He graduated with honours in 2011 and went on to complete his General Medical training in University Hospital Galway.
He completed his GP training on the Western GP training scheme and has a special interest medical education. Dr. Brian teaches undergraduate medical students during their GP placement from both UCD and the Royal College of Surgeons where he is an Honorary Lecturer. Dr Brian is a postgraduate GP trainer with the Irish College of General Practitioners.
Dr. Brian enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has a special interest in chronic disease management and men’s health.
Dr. Brian is married to Dr. Sinéad and they have two young daughters.
DR. SINÉAD CRONIN
MB BAO BCh LRCPI & SI MICGP DOWH PG Dip Clin Ed
Dr. Sinéad is a native of Dublin 9 having grown up on Griffith Avenue. She studied Medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and graduated with honours in 2011.
Dr. Sinéad completed the RCSI GP training scheme in 2016 working in various Dublin hospitals during this time. Dr. Sinéad has a keen interest in paediatrics and women’s health, especially pre-pregnancy care and antenatal care. She is a certified smear taker and also inserts contraceptive devices such as the Implanon and various coils.
Dr. Sinéad worked as a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of General Practice at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland for almost a decade. As well as teaching medical students, Dr Sinead was an active researcher involved in many projects across the HRB Centre for Primary Care Research. Emergency presentations in the over 65 patient population was Dr Sinead's research area of interest.
Dr. Sinéad is married to Dr. Brian and they have two young daughters.
DR. PATRICK MOYNAGH
BM BS MPharm MPH (Intl Health) DRCOG MICGP MRPharmS
Dr. Patrick is from Co. Monaghan. He studied Medicine at the University of Limerick, graduating in 2018. He completed the Midlands GP training scheme in 2023.
Dr Patrick is also a qualified Pharmacist and has postgraduate qualifications in Public Health. He has worked in variety of roles within clinical and academic settings within Ireland, the UK, France and Estonia.
Currently Dr Patrick splits his working week between Drumcondra Medical and the Department of General Practice at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
DR. AINE STENSON
MB BCh BAO DOWH DCP
Aine graduated from NUIG in 2016 and then completed her internship in Galway and Letterkenny after which she worked in Australia for a time (Darwin and Adelaide).
Aine has completed postgraduate diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Psychiatry and Palliative Care.
